CHANTAL J. LEYH Chantal J. Leyh died the 25th of July 2018 in Santa Fe, New Mexico after a two-year illness with cancer. Her life celebration will be held August 18th at 1:30 PM in the chapel at Golden Willow Retreat in Arroyo Hondo, NM. Chantal was born April 1, 1963 in The Hague, Netherlands. She graduated from Memorial High School in Houston, TX. Chantal believed in education to better one's self and open new opportunities in life. In 2013, she received her nursing degree as an RN from Santa Fe Community College in Santa Fe, NM. She was very successful as a nurse and showed her love, wisdom, and kindness with each patient she encountered. Her love for her two children, Erin and Kyle has been a main focus in her life who she loved deeply and dearly. In 2017 Chantal married Paul McQuaid in which the four of them made a strong foundation of acceptance and love. Her family paid this tribute to her, "Chantal celebrated life fully and pushed people to live their passion. She was one of the kindest, loving, and caring people ever. She supported healing and believed in each person's pure essence. She will be sorely missed." She is survived by her husband Paul McQuaid and daughter Erin, son Kyle Brooke, and sister Tanja Leyh.
