David Reid Hillman 1962-2016 David Reid Hillman was born October 26, 1962. He fought a long hard battle with brain cancer but finally lost the fight on September 22, 2016. David let everyone know he was ready to be with Jesus, but he hated the idea of leaving behind his family and friends. David graduated from Memorial High School, where he was a cheerleader, and the University of Texas, where he was a member of Phi Gamma Delta Fraternity. Growing up, David was an Eagle Scout and loved working on anything mechanical. After graduation, he spent several years in Washington DC and Virginia where he pursued a real estate development career. He then moved to Fort Worth, where he met his wife of 25 years, Kimberly Hillman. They soon moved to Houston where Kimberly pursued a nursing career and David continued in Real Estate as a partner in SouthCorp Realty Advisors. David's real passion was working with kids. He was "Super Dave" as a Sunday school teacher for 10 years, Boy Scout leader and coach, mentoring many kids over the years. He shared the love of motocross with his sons Reid and Luke, spending every spare moment tuning and racing their bikes. Together as a family, they traveled all over the US participating as a part of motocross. He is survived by is devoted wife, Kimberly and their children Reid, Luke, and Addie
